Able To Change Recovery alcohol and drug rehab program offers Residential Treatment (RTC), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Extended Care and Intensive Outpatient treatment programs.
We believe that one of the most vital functions of our alcohol rehab and drug rehab program is the care planning; it is the individual’s road map to recovery. The individual, person-center, interdisciplinary care plan is a practical, understandable tool that the individual, his/her family, and our team of clinicians utilize to steer the course throughout the journey of recovery. It is the focal point of each session with the individual and includes personally defined goals along with realistic objectives that address the issues and causes of one’s addiction.
Primary Treatment Phase
The client enters the program on a 24-hour supervised level of orientation that decreases with client stability and progress over a two-week period. Staff accompanies the client to all scheduled treatment and outside recovery activities. The RTC and PHP level of care are intensive primary care programs consisting of multiple group therapy sessions during the day, 6 days a week. The clients will also see a State Certified Drug and Alcohol counselor once a week.

Addiction Treatment Phase II
Intensive Outpatient Program
Able To Change Recovery alcohol and drug rehab program includes the intensive outpatient phase that follows the intensive addiction treatment Primary Phase. This program combines the Primary Care with the Extended Care in a gradual transitional structure. The Intensive Outpatient Program integrates employment and/or school activities into the clients treatment plan. In this phase, the client will begin accepting responsibilities in the community and begin making the gradual transition from the program to the community.
The client learns to balance daily activities with his/her recovery and is under moderate supervision that allows him/her to maintain employment and/or volunteer services during the day and continue alcohol and drug treatment in the evenings.
The client is introduced to this treatment phase by meeting with placement staff who will recommend an achievable job-search plan. The client will have access to computers, fax machines, and high-speed Internet. During this transitional treatment phase, clients are required to participate in the job-search program and attend a weekly minimum of three evening Intensive Outpatient Program groups, one private counseling session and continue daily 12-step meetings. The client is responsible for his/her own transportation to and from work/school, groups, counseling sessions, and 12-step meetings.
Treatment staff monitors the clients progress weekly and help with strategies and plans if one is not employed within two weeks. Upon completion of the Intensive Outpatient Phase of Treatment, the Treatment Evaluation Team will review the clients progress and revise his/her treatment plan to continue in Intensive Outpatient Care or prepare a discharge plan.
EXTENDED CARE PROGRAM
Phase 3 of our residential addiction treatment program is the ‘Exit’ phase. After completing Phase 1 and Phase 2 our 90-day program includes Phase 3. This phase is the planning phase for long-term addiction rehabilitation and is designed specifically to help our clients begin to plan for overcoming addiction and alcoholism. Phase 3 is included in our 90-day residential treatment program.
In the final phase of the residential treatment, the client begins planning his/her discharge from the program and prepares for re-entry to the community. The client is under minimal supervision and is required to attend our Alumni group therapy session on Wednesday evening. Options are available to continue individual and family counseling if needed. Daily 12-Step meetings and activities will continue to strengthen his/her support network and the client is encouraged to support primary care phase one program activities as a peer leader.
We Offer A Family Program
We recognize addiction as a “family disease” and believe that the family component is an integral part of the addict/alcoholic maintaining their sobriety. Our more intensive family program is available for client’s who have completed a minimum of 2 weeks in the program, and is facilitated once a month. Our “Intensive Family Group” is a full day opportunity for families and friends to learn about addiction, treatment, and recovery, as well as how families are affected by addiction and the post treatment environment.
